“How Do You Wear Your Pin?”

This winter, during the two weeks leading up to World AIDS Day (December 1st), we’re launching a campaign based on that simple question. We are doing a photography series, with different campus community members wearing a pin, coupled with a short explanation of how they “wear their pin.” Whether it be working at Volunteers in Medicine, reading to middle schoolers, or donating money to critical medical research, we all give back, or “wear our pin,” in different ways.

With our partnership with FACE AIDS, a national student organization to fight AIDS in Africa, the  Rwandan-made awareness pins are sold for $5 each. Through another partnership with Silicon Valley foundations, each $5 SGH raises for FACE AIDS is matched by an additional $5.

Since their inception, FACE AIDS has raised over $1.1 million for HIV/AIDS treatment on over 150 college and high school campuses.
